PokerTourneyTimer.com is a complete tournament clock: countdown timer, blind structure, player & chip tracking, spoken alerts, and an automatic payout calculator — all in one screen. Nothing to install; your setup is saved in this browser automatically.

1. Quick start

1. Pick a tournament. Tournament → Load preset / saved… and choose one (e.g. Default $200 Daily NLH). Or just use the one already loaded.
2. Add your players. Each time someone buys in, click the + next to Buy-in (or press B). Use # to add several at once.
3. Start the clock. Press Start ▶ (or S). The first click also turns on sound.
4. Run the event. The clock advances levels and breaks on its own and announces each change. Record re-buys, add-ons, and bust-outs as they happen (below).
5. Show it big. View → Toggle Fullscreen for a clean, full-screen display on a TV or monitor.

2. The screen at a glance

• This level — the level number, the countdown, and the current Small Blind / Big Blind / Ante. The circle empties as the level runs down and the clock flashes red in the final minute.
• Next level — what's coming up next (and the QR code linking to this site).
• Next Break In / Running — time until the next break, and elapsed time plus the estimated finish time.
• Stats — Remaining / Entries (with an ITM / bubble badge), Places Paid / Prize pool, Chips In Play, and Average Stack (with the big-blind count). The right side shows buy-in / re-buy / add-on / toke totals.
• Payouts — the live payout for each paid place; long lists scroll automatically with a dashed line marking where they loop.

3. Setting up a tournament

Everything lives under the Settings menu:

• House Options — currency symbol, buy-in cost & chips, re-buy / add-on / toke amounts, entry fee (rake), and the minimum prize pool (your guarantee).
• Structure — the blind levels: small blind, big blind, ante, minutes per level, and a break after any level. Add, edit, or bulk-fill level lengths.
• Payouts — how the prize pool is split (see the generator below).
• Appearance — colors, font sizes, branding text/logos, and every on-screen label.
• Alerts — the spoken phrases, the voice, speed, volume, and the beep toggle.

Made a setup you like? Tournament → Save current as… stores it for next time.

4. The smart payout generator

In Settings → Payouts, instead of typing every percentage you can answer three questions:

1. % of the field that cashes → sets how many places get paid.
2. Winner's % of the prize pool → sets 1st place.
3. Minimum cash → sets the last paid place.

Every place in between follows a smooth curve that adds up to exactly the prize pool. Turn on Auto-update and it recalculates on every buy-in as the field grows; or click Generate into table for a one-time set of percentages you can hand-tweak.

5. During play

• Start / Pause — Start ▶ button or S.
• Move levels — N next, P previous; F / W nudge the clock forward/back one minute.
• Money in — + / # / − next to Buy-in, Re-buy, and Add-on (keys B / R / A), and Toke (T).
• Player out — under Busted press − (or E) when a player is eliminated; + undoes it. Remaining count and average stack update instantly.
• On the money — the badge by the player count shows (N to the money), then (BUBBLE), then (ITM) once everyone left is paid.

6. Sound & voice

The timer speaks each new level and the blinds, the one-minute warning, breaks, and the winner, and plays a distinct tone for each. Browsers block audio until you interact, so the first Start press unlocks it. Pick the voice and adjust speed/volume — or turn speech and beeps off — in Settings → Alerts.

7. Display & kiosk mode

• View menu — show/hide any panel (header, timer circle, next level, break info, chips, payouts, control buttons). Hiding the timer circle collapses its space.
• Toggle Fullscreen — fills the screen and hides the menu bar for a clean venue display.
• While the clock is running the screen is kept awake so it won't sleep mid-tournament.

9. Saving, exporting & importing

Save current as… stores the setup in this browser, and your live state auto-saves on every change (so a refresh resumes where you left off). Export as .xml writes a file compatible with the original Windows PokerTimer; Export as .json is the modern format. Import file reads either one back in.

10. Tips & troubleshooting

• No sound? Click anywhere once (the first Start unlocks audio), and check speech/beep are on in Settings → Alerts.
• Want a clean slate? Tournament → New (reset counts) clears the player/chip counts and timer but keeps your structure.
• Text looks cut off? Long values shrink to fit automatically; for a bigger display use Fullscreen or raise the font sizes in Appearance.
• Picked up a new structure but counts stayed? Use New (reset counts) after loading a preset to start fresh.
